- What size are these grips exactly?They’re slightly larger than a standard midsize grip. Not cartoon chunky, but chunky enough to feel solid and comfortable.
If you like midsize grips, you’ll probably love these. If you like skinny grips, maybe not.
The size is based on the grip thickness Cameron has used for over 20 years.
For reference, the approximate dimensions are:
Butt: ~26.8 mm
Middle: ~22.8 mm
Lower hand: ~17.8 mm
These grips also feature a reduced taper design, so the lower hand feels fuller and more stable.
Note: The reduced taper may remove the need for using extra tape or build-up underneath, but that’s up to you and what you prefer. - How much do they weigh?Each “Chunky” grip weighs 71 grams.
That’s about 21 grams heavier than a typical standard grip (around 50g).
The extra weight sits higher in the grip and helps give a more solid, stable feel in your hands without needing to squeeze the club. - Are these full cord or half cord?They’re half cord – just the way I like it. The top half is corded for control and grip in wet conditions. The bottom half is soft and tacky, giving you a buttery feel.
